We’ve collected some of the most commonly asked questions from our guests to help answer any questions you may have.
What time can I check-in to my room on the day of arrival?
Check-in is between 3pm and 6pm. Should you be arriving earlier than 3pm please feel free to park, explore the grounds or perhaps wander into the village.
Should you be planning to arrive later than 6pm, please let us know by email in advance if possible or call us on +44 (0) 208 133 8698. The latest arrival time in 12 midnight.
What time is check-out on the day of departure?
Check-out time on the date of departure is 11.00am. If a later check-out is desired, please ask at Reception. A small charge may be applicable for a later check-out.
Can you store guests luggage?
We may be able to offer the service to guests where we can hold luggage after 11.00am until the end of the day on the date of departure by arrangement. Please ask at Reception.
Is there parking available at Abbots Grange?
There is ample guest parking. We ask that guests park considerately and not park in front of the main entrance front doors as this area is a designated fire escape.
Cars are parked at owner’s risk and we are unable to accept responsibility for accidental damage or theft. We do not charge for parking and guests are welcome to leave their car at Abbots Grange up until 3pm on the day of departure if they are walking locally or visiting Broadway village.
Do you have electric vehicle chargers?
We have a 7kw Type 2 EV (tethered) connector charging point. Local charges apply. Please check with Reception when you arrive for further details.
Can you recommend a taxi or transfer company?
Recommendations of local chauffeur and taxi services will be provided when bookings are confirmed. Alternatively, please visit the official Visit Broadway website.
Is there a tour operator who can take us on a scenic tour of the Cotswolds?
There are a number of local and expert Cotswold Tour companies. Recommendations of local services are provided when bookings are made. Alternatively, please visit the official Cotswold Tourism website or Visit Broadway website.
Is it easy to walk to Broadway village from Abbots Grange?
We recommended that guests walk through the gardens to the village and do not use the main gates and driveway if on foot.
Turn right out of the front door and follow the gravel footpath leading from the car park around the rear of the house, past the croquet lawn and greenhouse. Through the garden gate will bring you out onto Church Street and the village green.
The garden path is fully flood lit at night and you will find a garden gate key for re-entry on your room key ring.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in the dining room between the following times:
Monday to Saturday: 8.00am to 9.30am
Sunday; 9.00am to 10.00am
If you would like breakfast outside these times, please ask at reception.
Do you serve lunch and dinner?
Abbots Grange focuses its food offer on its wonderful home cooked breakfasts. For lunch and dinner options in the village, you’ll find an excellent choice of cosy cafe’s, bistro’s and fine dining restaurants to suit every taste within a 2 minute walk.
Are children able to stay at Abbots Grange?
Abbots Grange is an adults only destination but children are welcome age 12 years and over. If the property is booked on an exclusive-use basis, children and infants of any age are most welcome.
Can guests bring dogs and pets to Abbots Grange?
For the comfort of all guests, Abbots Grange does not permit guests pets. Thank you for understanding.
Is there a Spa at Abbots Grange?
There are a number of excellent spas available locally for guests to visit and book treatments. The Lygon Arms Spa is located a 2 minutes walk away in Broadway. A short 10 minute drive away is Dormy House Spa or slightly further afield Bamford Wellness Spa at Daylesford Organic Farm. Alternative recommendations can be found on the Cotswold Tourism website.
Do you have to book to play tennis and croquet?
The tennis court is available for guests to use. Bookings are not required. If the court is free, you are welcome to play. We have rackets to borrow and tennis balls available to purchase. Please wear trainers or tennis shoes only on the tennis court.
Croquet is available during the summer months – please ask and we will set this up for you and provide equipment.
Is wi-fi available?
Complimentary wi-fi is available throughout the entire house. Please click on ‘Guest Wi-Fi’ in your connection settings and enter the network key which is provided on arrival.
What size are the beds?
All our bedrooms and suites either have a King Size or Standard Double bed. Please see the individual room descriptions. We do not have any twin bedded rooms at Abbots Grange.

Do you provide hypoallergenic pillows and duvets?
Yes, upon request we offer hypoallergenic pillows and duvets to ensure a comfortable stay for guests with allergies and sensitivities. Please let us know your preferences when booking and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
Do you provide hairdryers, irons and boards?
Yes, you will find a hair dryer in the dressing table drawer or under the vanity shelf of every room. An iron and ironing board will be stowed in the cupboard in your room.
Is there a beauticians and hairdressers nearby?

Can we hire bikes locally?
Numerous bike hire shops offer a range of bicycles, including e-bikes, along with maps and route suggestions tailored to different skill levels. Does Abbots Grange host wedding ceremonies and celebrations?
Abbots Grange provides the perfect setting for a special occasion and while the property is not licensed for wedding ceremonies, and does not host marquee wedding parties, we are delighted to welcome brides, grooms, and their closest family and friends to stay together.
Our rooms are often booked individually, or on a whole house basis, by wedding parties looking for a stylish and relaxing retreat before and after the big day. Please contact our Reception team to discuss your requirements and check availability.

Can you smoke inside at Abbots Grange?
Smoking at Abbots Grange is strictly prohibited other than outside in the grounds where metal sand buckets are provided. Thank you for supporting this policy.
